Back to the vet today to remove the rest of Baron's stitches! His wound is totally closed now, but is still a little raw in places. Baron is getting very good at riding in his basket when we're in the car. We took a detour by the bank on the way home so he could say hi to all the nice people. They even sent him a treat through the Pneumatic Tube (If, like me, you've always wondered what the cool bank tubes were called, now you know). I'm sure he appreciated the gesture, but he wasn't having any of the treat. I guess a dry biscuit doesn't have quite the appeal when you can get yummy drug cheese at home (we put his meds in a small piece of cheese that he gets every morning and night.)

Sawyer found these cool baskets when he was cleaning out his room, and we discovered that not only are they perfectly Baron sized, but he absolutely loves them, AND they go well with our home decor. We put one in each family room and Baron is now rarely found out of them.

He's still as sweet and as cute as ever. And I'm hoping that soon he will be my Saturday morning date to the Farmer's Market!

My other dogs have been handling Baron's presence wonderfully, but I think they may be a little jealous of all the attention he's getting, so I thought I'd dedicate this post to Duke and Duchess, for being such good sports.
