Update on Baron!

Baron is doing so well!  He's healing very fast (although he did decide to remove a few of his own stitches last night) and he seems to be adjusting to life with only three limbs with admirable speed.

He's very smart. He's already learned his name, and he comes when he's called. We've decided to skip over "Sit" for a while, due to the sans-a-hind-leg issue, but he knows how to get in his basket and is getting pretty good at "Stay."  He even helped me clean out my car yesterday (his version of help being to curl up in the driver's seat, look adorable, and take a nap.)

He is also eating real dog food again and drinking from the dog bowl. This is a huge relief, he refused food and  water for the first day, and then would only eat a few bites of wet food and only drink water out of our hands...literally I had to pour small amounts of water into the palm of my hand to get him to drink anything at all.

He is as sweet as ever, and my other dogs are slowly adjusting to having him around. We still don't leave them alone together, but they seem to be adjusting to the fact that he's allowed to be here too.

Thanks again to everyone who has helped Baron with his surgery.  I can't express how much it means.
